My favourite is the one about the finger temperature.

Japan...it's called HOT water. Look into it!

I was never so amused (and dismayed) as I was at Tokyo Disneyland when I visited there one January. I used the restrooms in Tomorrow Land. There was no hot water. What sort of bleak future is that?
